Just when you thought the Kipleacht and the Marked were enough creepy creatures for one dungeon crawler, along come the Husks!
Despite the Scions of Yaldabaoth being united by a common cause, not all of the Progenitors chose to walk the same path to achieve it. Whereas some of them specialized in modifications done on living bodies to create the Marked or the Kipleacht, others have chosen to apply the knowledge revealed by the Architect directly to dead and rotting flesh.

The Husks are bodies reused by the Scions of Yaldabaoth to help them fulfill their purpose. Husks are not mere corpses that have come back to life, rather their different body parts (limbs, torso, and head) are attached by a black and crimson tar that acts as their spine. They appear to have been human at some point, judging by the remains.
Husks are one of the earliest experiments on the Progenitors. They are not elite warriors, so they don’t appear to be a threat at first sight. However, don’t let their simple appearance trick you. Though they are not especially agile, they can be quite dangerous when in a group. Although their rotting bodies are not particularly tough, the magical tar makes them able to repel magical attacks. Staying close to a Husk is ill-advised, as their presence and the stench of the body stuns the characters.
These miniatures, along with their card and initiative token, are included in the Warcrow Adventures starter box. If you want to know what else you will find in it, subscribe to our Youtube channel, as we will soon share the first unboxing of Warcrow Adventures.
