We are quite eager to share more and more news about the fantasy wargame that is being cooked up in our warehouse.
Today we’re showing you the miniatures contained in the first Warcrow box and a few sneak peeks of the second one...
Battle box
Warcrow, the wargame, will be released with a “battle box” first, and this contains troops from two nations and enough material to play your initial games.
Each nation will have seven miniatures that are here:
Hegemony of Embersig
The cosmopolitan empire formed by humans, Aestari elves, and ghent dwarves.
Drago the Anvil
He is an Official. This is the first unit we’ve shown since the original wargame announcement. This Hetman is a single-troop unit.

Drago lost an eye at the hands of a varank marauder, thus he’s particularly excited for the first mission of his latest crop of recruits: the counteroffensive to drive the Northern Tribes back to the sea.
This Hetman is a single-troop unit.

Drago, the Anvil… more like the hammer, the bellows, the whole blacksmith. He’s the fearsome, one-eyed Hetman!
Frostfire Herald
A new graduate of the Faculty of Magic, the Frostfire Herald is eager to put into practice every bit of sorcery he has learned.

This unit specializes in the most effective battlefield magic: Elemental magic. The Black Legion’s artillery has been overwhelming since its founding, capable of subduing the most tenacious of its enemies, and the Frostfire Heralds are the mobile version of that artillery: the power of a cannon concentrated in the fragile body of an Aestari. These elves are capable of launching scorching spheres of fire, as well as freezing the Hegemony's enemies into immovable statues of ice.

Bucklermen
The most illustrious Hegemony of Embersig brings its Bucklermen to bear, with their notable leader.

This new era has brought with it a decline in pitched battles and an increase in the number of skirmishes between small groups of soldiers, making the overall flexibility of the Bucklermen more of a necessity than ever.

This unit of three bucklermen comes with its distinguished leader.
War Surgeon
To care for all of these people, wounded or not, we have always-prepared War Surgeon. She is ready to carry out her medical duties to the best of her ability!

War Surgeons are not superstitious healers, but men and women of science whose hands remain steady when performing an intervention or producing a vial of poison in the middle of the raging battlefield. One mistake could cost them or their patients their lives... but War Surgeons do not make mistakes.

The Northern Tribes
The Northern Tribes is the term used to describe the alliance between orcs and varank - the lethal warriors of the Boreal Lands.
Alborc, the Wrathmane
Leading the Northern troops we have Alborc, the Wrathmane, from the Northern Tribes! The roughly hewn Alborc is a natural leader who became the head of the orc tribes that escaped from the Lurking Evil. He is loyal to the Spirit of the World the orcs believe in.

Alborc, like Drago, is a single-troop unit although he can join other units.
Every Wrathmane is characterized by dwarfing the rest of the orcs in terms of size. His leadership is brought to bear through his physical superiority, his charisma, and his raw power. In fact, he has earned his position by prevailing against all comers in combat, although he never stops having to prove that he still deserves his position. The Wrathmane is the leader of the tribe, he directs them in combat, and always to a glorious, hard-fought victory.

Hunters
The lethal Northern Tribes ravage the battlefield with their fierce Hunters, thirsty for blood, always ready to take on any scum who dare oppose them!

Orcs behave like a group of hunters ambushing prey; a way of fighting that adapts very well to the skirmishes in which they are typically involved.

Evoker
The world of spirits is invited to the field of battle by the subtle hand of the Evoker - she lives to crush her enemies!

The Evokers are wise orcs capable of summoning rock trolls to mercilessly squash their enemies or to make contact with their past lives to invoke power and further increase the lethality of the undefeatable, bloodthirsty troops.

Wisemane
The Tribes hold great respect for their elders, and they are a crucial part of their lineage. Thus, here we have the Wisemane who has accumulated vast combat experience, which he is eager to share with the skulls of Hegemony soldiers. In a most violent session of show-and-tell.

These are the only orcs whose duty it is to survive in order to pass on their experience to the tribe.

So the Story Goes…

The flashpoint for our Battle Pack is the events after the taking of Grjotgard, a territory to the north of the continent that once belonged to the dwarves of Mounthaven. I cannot reveal too much, but let me summarize what happened here: The Northern Tribes, our alliance of orcs and varank, descended from the Boreal Lands to the conquest of Grjotgard, reaching the bordering territories of the Hegemony of Embersig. It was then that Hegemony rushed to defend its frontiers, and thus our first product brings these two armies face-to-face.
If you want to experience more, you'll have to wait for this magnificent box to go on sale!
Release date
This project is in its full development phase. For now, the official announcement date will be at Adepticon 2024. Until that time comes, you can try a demo at various events to provide us with your valuable feedback while we wait for the official sale date that will take place next year at GenCon 2024.

It is also important to note that, like our game, this schedule is a work in progress, and subject to change. However, this is our plan at this moment in time.
Second box
At Interplanetario 2023, we showed off a few miniatures from the second box that will follow the first battle pack.
This product, which will go on sale at a later date, will consist of a complementary box to the starter box, to expand the variety of troops and profiles. This product will contain six miniatures, three for each army.
The Northern Tribes
Njord the Merciless

Njord, known as The Merciless, is the leader of the varank Skinchangers. His weapon is the famous Bloody Axe, a weapon as murderous as its wielder.
The hersir are chief captains of the different varank clans, to whom is assigned the surveillance and protection of a certain territory.

Skinchangers
At the age of 14, all varank go through a coming-of-age celebration, the Tattoo Ceremony, when their spirit animal is revealed. They receive their tattoo and everyone is overjoyed. Some varank are so skilled in this that they can completely transform into their spirit animal, and then take full advantage of its abilities.

Very soon we will show the rest of the figures contained in this second box, but for now, remember, patience is a virtue!
