Iriavík came to the Embersig Hegemony at the age of ten with her grandmother, who was part of the Varank Guard, the Hegemon's personal escort. Sadly, a few years later the warrior fell in combat and Iriavík was left alone.
There was only one thing that made her feel good: the beasts the Hegemony had captured to serve in combat. She established a very special bond with one of them, a kurgan cub that she named Coal. So when the beasts were sent to the Unseen Forest, Iriavík secretly followed the caravan to free her friend.
One moonless night, Iriavík glimpsed a presence on her way to the cages. Strangely “something” emerged from the forest and released the beasts just as the Sÿenann ambushed the camp. She and Coal fled into the woods. Although the animal seemed afraid to go further into the thicket, the girl scooped up the cub and ran towards the trees, finding herself caught in a whirlwind of light.
When she awoke, they were both in a different places. Iriavík and Coal had arrived at Hawthorn Point, and the tattoo of a leafy tree had appeared on the girl's back.

In her game turn, Iriavík and Coal activate at the same time and can coordinate their actions. Iravík has a special ability that can power up Coal since the kurgan pup, despite not being a playable character, does have a profile with his own attributes.
Plus, Coal can suffer from Consequences and the Tinge, so be careful! You wouldn’t want the best boy to die! Two-in-one characters that for sure will be extremely useful to face the mysteries of the island.

Iriavík does not apply the Effects of the following states: Slowed nor Unbalanced
